Freedom Direct Documentation and Download Freedom Direct Software The Freedom Direct software can be downloaded by clicking on the link below. Once the file has downloaded, use the documentation found further down on this page to install the software. If you encounter any trouble while setting up the software, please contact us at tech@mill-shaf.com.
Description: Freedom Direct allows your viewers to use the FreedomApplet to communicate directly to the machine that the Freedom Mount is attached to. The Freedom Direct software keeps track of how many people currently have the FreedomApplet open and receives and sends information back to all of the FreedomApplets currently trying to control the Freedom 2000. The Freedom Direct software organizes all of the FreedomApplet connections and communicates back to the users how long they have control for or when they will get control. If the user has control then the FreedomDirect will take their commands and issue them to the Freedom 2000. The FreedomDirect also offers the administrator an interface to allow them to change various settings. Requirements: To run the Freedom Direct software you need to have Windows 95, 98, or NT 4.0 (Linux/Unix versions are currently being developed). Additionally, the Freedom Direct software requires that your Freedom Mount be attached to the same computer that returns the web page that your FreedomApplet is on. The Freedom Remote software allows you to have your Freedom Mount and WWW server on different computers. Quick Setup: 1. Download the file FreedomDirect.zip from the download area. 2. Unzip the file FreedomDirect.zip and run setup. 3. Once setup has finished you find a link to Freedom Direct 2000 under "Start -> Programs" start Freedom Direct 2000 4 If your Freedom Mount is not already connected to your computer and plugged in go ahead and do so. 5.
